MOUNTAIN BIKING: Winter Park Resort

← CO FRASER RIVER UPPER STA NEAR WINTER PARK CO Single Tracks →

Description

This park has everything! Great downhill\'s for the extremist, long networks for the cross country rider, and trails for beginners. The lift ticket is fairly inexpensive (around $20), and if need be there are plenty of networks around the area that don\'t require a lift ticket. Nevertheless, the most fun I had was on \"The Downhill\" run. It is rated as a black diamond and for good reason. The trail consists of large jumps, gapped jumps, and park like obstacles that you must ride over and around. No worries if you don\'t have a full suspension bike, I have a hard tail and it was plenty for the challenge. Make sure you are comfortable on you bike before you try this trail. Nonetheless, the extremist will not be disappointed.
